Lake Claire

A small neighborhood that is unfortunately too often overlooked due to its larger and more well-known adjacent neighborhoods, Lake Claire is one of Atlanta’s best kept secrets. Intimate and close-knit, the neighbors of Lake Claire know each other by name. The beautiful Lake Claire is situated north of Kirkwood, west of Decatur, south of Druid Hills, and east of Candler Park. Despite what you may think, there isn’t actually a lake in this neighborhood; the neighborhood name is derived from the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Claire Drive. Nevertheless, the residents share an inside joke with bumper stickers proclaiming, “Ski Lake Claire!”
